The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has predicted dry weather for Peshawar and most parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa over the next few days.
The current weather pattern indicates a dominance of continental air over most of Pakistan, with a westerly wave present in the northern regions.
As a result of these conditions, most districts in the province can expect dry weather from Friday evening through the following two days. However, there may be isolated instances of rain, wind, or thunderstorms in areas like Dir, Chitral, and Kohistan on Friday evening and night. On Saturday, similar weather patterns are expected in Dir and Chitral.
In Peshawar, the maximum temperature is projected to range from 35-37 degrees Celsius on Saturday and 34-36 degrees Celsius on Sunday.
In the past 24 hours, dry weather has prevailed across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Dera Ismail Khan and Bannu experienced the highest temperatures, reaching as high as 38 degrees Celsius. In Peshawar, the maximum temperature recorded was 37 degrees Celsius, with a relative humidity of 81 percent in the morning.
