Here’s a simplified version of the steps:
- Send your CNIC number (without spaces or dashes) to 668 (this is free) or visit www.cnic.sims.pk to check how many numbers are registered under your CNIC.
- Send a blank text to 667 (also free) to get details about the Name & CNIC associated with your current SIM.
- Go to your nearest service retailer, franchise, or help center.
- Provide your number, CNIC, and thumb impression.
- After successful verification, you’ll receive a list of other numbers registered in your name.
- Confirm each MSISDN by replying with “Y”.
- Make sure you do this properly before February 27, 2015, as all non-BVS numbers will be deactivated as per PTA regulations.
- A charge of Rs. 10/ CNIC will apply for re-verification, as per PTA rules.
- If biometric verification fails due to a thumb impression mismatch, visit a NADRA center to correct it.
Remember, any numbers not verified by February 26, 2015, will be blocked according to PTA instructions.
