The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has stated that dry weather will continue over most parts of Punjab, including Lahore, in the next 24 hours.

As for Lahore, there is no rain expected today or in the near future. The temperature is quite high, with around 36°C at noon. Winds are blowing at 10km/h. The maximum UV index, an indicator of sunburn risk, was recorded at 5, which is considered moderate. Visibility is around 15km.

Unfortunately, the air quality in Lahore is not in good shape. It has been measured at 202, which falls into the “very unhealthy” category. This means that sensitive groups will immediately feel health effects and should avoid outdoor activities. Even healthy individuals may experience difficulty breathing and throat irritation, so it’s advised to stay indoors and consider rescheduling outdoor plans.

In terms of the overall weather situation, continental air is prevailing across most parts of the country. Dry weather is expected to persist in most areas, with hotter conditions in the southern parts. However, there might be some isolated rain-thunderstorm activity in Gilgit Baltistan and nearby areas.
