ISLAMABAD – As Muslims across the world, including Pakistan, are ready to welcome the holy month of Ramadan 2024, astronomy experts have predicted dates for the commencement of the Islamic month.
According to experts, it’s expected that Ramadan 2024 will likely begin on March 11 (Monday). However, the official start will be confirmed by the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee after they sight the moon.
This year, Ramadan will begin during the winter season in Pakistan and other parts of the world for the first time in 26 years.
According to experts, the holy month will again be observed in summer season in 2031.
The hours of fasting during Ramadan will differ from country to country, and this year, it’s expected that the duration might range from 12 to 17 hours.
