LAHORE – Students and their families are feeling uncertain because of various social media posts suggesting that schools in Pakistan might have eight holidays in February 2024 due to the upcoming general elections set for February 8.
According to reports, schools are expected to be shut on Sunday, February 4, and there will be a day off on February 5 in observance of Kashmir Day. Additionally, it is mentioned that schools will remain closed from February 6 to 10 due to elections.
Reports further added that the schools would reopen on Feb 12 after eight days of holidays.
However, there is no official notification regarding holidays from federal and provincial governments.
