Nadra New Smart ID Card Normal Fee Update For October 2023

A brand-new Smart National Identity Card (NIC) is now being issued to Pakistani citizens. This advanced ID card is the result of cutting-edge technology and clear operational guidelines, ensuring its authenticity and validity.

This unique ID comes with a 13-digit number that’s recognized all across the country. It’s the primary document needed for various purposes like getting a license, NTN, bank account, passport, and even a cellular connection.

Any Pakistani citizen who is 18 years or older is eligible to obtain this NIC.

Here’s how you can apply for the new Smart ID Card:

1. You have two options for applying: visit a NADRA Registration Center (NRC) in person, or go through the Pak Identity website.
2. If you choose the online option, you can apply for your Smart National Identity Card (SNIC) on the Pak Identity website and have it delivered to your doorstep. However, please note that applying for a fresh/new CNIC is not available through the website.

As of October 2023, the fee for a Smart National Identity Card in the normal category remains unchanged at Rs750.
