Netflix has just revealed the release date for “Squid Game: The Challenge,” a reality show inspired by the original hit series, Squid Game.
The first season of Squid Game, which premiered on September 17, 2021, took the world by storm.

“Squid Game: The Challenge,” Netflix’s reality competition based on the Squid Game concept, will kick off on November 22. This show will involve 456 participants competing for a staggering prize of $4.56 million.
Back in June 2022, Netflix announced the series, a move that didn’t come as a surprise given the massive success of Squid Game upon its debut in 2021. However, there were some bumps in the road leading up to the release, with reports of medical issues on set that Netflix had to address.
Looking ahead, Netflix is planning to introduce retail locations in 2025. It wouldn’t be surprising if they incorporate real-world Squid Game elements into those stores. Additionally, the streaming giant is also in the works for a second season of the original Squid Game series.
