In a welcomed move for Pakistanis, the National Database Registration Authority (NADRA) has waived the fee for death certificates for citizens.
The Interior Minister of the country, Mohsin Naqvi, made the announcement to abolish the fee during his recent visit to NADRA headquarters. Naqvi inspected various sectors during his visit and directed officials to establish offices across the country, following the model of model police stations established in Punjab.
During his meeting with NADRA officials, Mohsin Naqvi instructed the waiver of fees for death certificates to provide relief to the people. He also emphasized the utmost security of people’s data.
The Minister also commended the performance of NADRA Chairman, Lieutenant General Muhammad Munir Afsar.
