Punjab bikes scheme 2024 A selection process took place during the weekend, and the government has now published the names of the students who were chosen. You can view the full lists of successful candidates here.
The government had received total 72,640 applications – 57,370 for petrol bikes and 15,270 for e- Bikes – till the deadline i.e. May 1, 2024.
The plan is to give away 19,000 petrol motorcycles and 1,000 electric bikes to students. They’ll pick the students randomly to get the bikes. Plus, there’s a special number of bikes reserved just for female students.
There are 19,000 regular petrol bikes, with 11,676 for male students and 7,324 for female students. Additionally, there are 1,000 electric bikes, out of which 700 are for male students and 300 for female students.
