KARACHI – Gold prices in Pakistan increased on Tuesday, following a decline the previous day in the local market.
According to the Sarafa Association, the price of gold per tola surged by Rs700, reaching Rs275,200, while the 10-gram price rose by Rs600 to settle at Rs235,940. In the international market, gold prices also saw an uptick, with the price of per ounce gold rising by $7 to $2,640.
Meanwhile, silver prices in Pakistan remained stable, holding at Rs3,400 per tola and Rs2,914.95 per 10-gram.

On Monday, gold rates had dropped by Rs1,700 per tola, bringing the price to Rs274,500 at the start of December. The decline followed a drop in international bullion rates, with the 10-gram price falling by Rs1,457 to Rs235,340.
