Weather update Karachi – Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecast partly cloudy weather for Karachi during the next two days.
According to the report, a westerly wave is likely to enter upper parts of Pakistan today evening/night and spread upper/central parts on Saturday.
In Karachi, it’s expected to be dry on Friday evening and night, and then partly cloudy over the next two days. The maximum temperature in Karachi will be around 33-35 degrees Celsius on Saturday and Sunday.
In some other parts of Pakistan, including upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Islamabad, the Potohar region, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Kashmir, there’s a likelihood of windstorms, rain, thunderstorms, and even snow in the high mountains on Friday evening and night. On Saturday, similar weather conditions are expected in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Islamabad, upper Punjab, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Kashmir.
Some areas in the plains may also experience isolated hailstorms, while heavy rainfall is anticipated in Kashmir, Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and the Potohar region during this period.
Over the past 24 hours, most of the country experienced dry weather, with the hottest temperature recorded in Nokkundi at 41 degrees Celsius. In Sindh, Nawabshah was the hottest place with a maximum temperature of 40 degrees Celsius, while Karachi had a maximum temperature of 34 degrees Celsius.
