The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has predicted a mix of clouds and scattered rainfall for Peshawar and certain areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in the coming days.
As per the current weather pattern, most parts of Pakistan are experiencing continental air.
A fresh westerly wave is expected to approach the upper regions of the country by Thursday evening or night and may persist until Saturday.
Due to these conditions, Wednesday evening, and the subsequent two days, are anticipated to be mostly dry in most parts of the province. However, there might be light rain in Chitral, Kurrum, and Waziristan on Wednesday evening.
On Thursday, Dir, Chitral, Swat, Kohat, Kurrum, and Peshawar can expect partly cloudy weather along with rain, wind, and possible thunderstorms during the evening and night.
In Peshawar, the maximum temperature is projected to range from 33 to 35 degrees Celsius on Thursday, and from 30 to 32 degrees Celsius on Friday.
Over the past 24 hours, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa experienced hot and dry weather. Dera Ismail Khan saw the highest temperature in the province, reaching as high as 36 degrees Celsius. In Peshawar, the maximum temperature recorded was 35 degrees Celsius, with a morning relative humidity of 71 percent.
