Weather Update – Karachi Meteorological Department has forecasted very hot weather for port city resident for the month of October including intense heat for the next four to five days.
According to the Karachi Weather Office, temperatures in the city might reach up to 40 degrees Celsius. Sardar Sarfraz, the head of the Karachi Meteorological Department, mentioned that the refreshing sea breezes we’ve been experiencing will no longer be present.
These recent winds have also caused air quality issues, and now, Karachi is in for a month of intense heat.
It’s worth noting that the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) issued a strong warning to all district administrations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
They anticipate a new round of heavy rains and strong winds starting today in the region. Given the impending weather changes, the PDMA is urging district authorities to take immediate precautionary measures to protect both lives and property.
