Weather update – On Wednesday, the city continued to struggle with scorching heat and stifling humidity. The highest temperature reached 37.1°C, coupled with a humidity level of 65%.
Officials highlighted that the perceived temperature, or heat index, spiked to a staggering 55°C, intensifying the discomfort for residents.

The Meteorological Department has predicted that today, Thursday, will have cloudy skies. Despite the cloud cover, it will remain hot and humid, with temperatures reaching between 35°C and 37°C.
The morning humidity is forecasted to range from 70% to 80%, with evening levels expected to be between 55% and 65%, indicating consistently humid conditions throughout the day.
