Karachi Weather update: Karachi is expecting more monsoon rain today. After yesterday’s light to heavy showers in different parts of the city, weather experts predict more rain, with light rain and drizzle likely. Despite the rain, it will stay hot and humid, with rainfall expected in the afternoon or evening.
Strong sea breezes are predicted to start on Thursday, and the skies will be cloudy. The rain on Tuesday provided relief from the heat, making the weather more pleasant. Areas like Old City, Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Gulistan-e-Johar, Saddar, II Chundrigar Road, Malir, Airport, Quaidabad, Federal B Area, and Tariq Road experienced the rain.
The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) recorded the lowest temperature at 30°C, with the maximum temperature expected to be between 35°C and 37°C. The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) warned of possible urban flooding in Karachi, Hyderabad, and other areas in Sindh due to heavy rain.
