Weather update – The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has predicted rainfall of varying intensities in Karachi, Hyderabad and parts of Sindh during the weekend.
According to the weather situation, there is a strong westerly wave affecting western regions of Pakistan. This weather pattern is expected to spread across most parts of the country by April 13th and continue in the northern areas until April 15th.
During this time, there will be partly cloudy weather in most districts of the province on Friday night, Saturday, and Sunday. However, there’s a chance of rain, wind, and thunderstorms in Dadu, Jamshoro, Larkana, Sukkur, Jacobabad, and Kashmore on Friday night. On Saturday and Sunday, rain, wind, and thunderstorms are expected in Dadu, Jamshoro, Larkana, Sukkur, Jacobabad, Shaheed Benazirabad, Sanghar, Mithi, Padidan, Kashmore, Karachi, and Hyderabad.
Karachi’s maximum temperatures will likely remain between 35-37 degrees Celsius on Saturday and 33-35 C on Sunday.
Hyderabad’s maximum temperatures will likely remain between 38-40 C on Saturday and 37-39 C on Sunday.
Meanwhile, dry weather prevailed in the port city and most parts of the province during the last 24 hours.
Nawabshah was the hottest area in the province, with the temperature reaching 43°C. The relative humidity in the evening was measured at 27%.
In Karachi, maximum temperature was recorded at 34 C. Relative humidity during the evening was recorded at 60 per cent.
In Hyderabad, maximum temperature was recorded at 39 C. Relative humidity during the evening was recorded at 29 per cent.
