The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) has forecasted rain and snowfall in various regions of the country for the upcoming week.
According to the report issued by NDMA, the weather in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is expected to remain mostly cold, with some areas likely to experience rain and snowfall in the upper regions.
Rain and snowfall are also expected in Gilgit-Baltistan and Azad Kashmir. In Punjab, cold and dry weather with smog is anticipated from tomorrow until December 12, while Islamabad, Rawalpindi, and Attock are likely to experience cloudy weather with a chance of rain.
Furthermore, the report indicates that Sindh will experience cold and dry weather next week.
In light of these conditions, the NDMA has issued directives to local administrations and relevant authorities, advising the public to take precautionary measures.
The NDMA has urged people living in areas affected by smog to avoid unnecessary outdoor activities.
