Victoria Beckham has opened up about the Rebecca Loos cheating scandal, describing it as the “most unhappy” period in her life. In candid interviews for a new four-part Netflix series, Victoria and her husband, former footballer David Beckham, delve into their past experiences.
The couple chose to address an old infidelity allegation for the first time, involving David’s former personal assistant, Rebecca Loos, who claimed they had an affair in 2003 while he played for Real Madrid. This revelation is just one of the many insights offered in the series. David consistently denied Loos’s assertion.
The documentary, released on Netflix, provides an endearing look into the dynamics of their nearly 25-year relationship. It covers their inseparable early days, David’s unexpected passion for bees, and most notably, how they navigated the cheating allegations nearly two decades ago. They likened the experience of making the documentary to a form of “therapy.”

At the time of the alleged affair, Rebecca Loos was 26 years old and working as David Beckham’s personal assistant. When David moved to Spain to play for Real Madrid, Victoria stayed in the UK with their two young sons, Brooklyn and Romeo.
Rebecca gained notoriety when she claimed to have had a four-month affair with Beckham, an allegation he consistently denied. She lost her job with the family after selling her story to the now-defunct tabloid, The News of The World.
Rebecca subsequently embraced fame, appearing on the cover of Playboy and participating in a memorable stint on the Channel 5 show, The Farm. Her life took a different turn, and she’s now a fitness enthusiast living in Norway. Rebecca met her current husband, Sven Christjar Skaiaa, on the reality show 71 Degrees North, where celebrities race across the Arctic Circle.
