In Pakistan, inflation has surged for the second consecutive month due to the government raising energy costs and a weakened currency driving up prices.

In response to these economic challenges, telecom company Zong has decided to adjust its tariffs to accommodate the increased costs.
In light of these adjustments, Zong has officially announced a hike in the prices of its packages. The Monthly Super Card, for instance, now costs Rs900, reflecting a Rs100 increase from its previous price of Rs800.
Meanwhile, the Monthly Digital Max Offer maintains its price at Rs1,500. However, there have been alterations to the Monthly Supreme package, with the total calling minutes reduced from 500 to 350 off-net minutes.
In terms of weekly offers, the Weekly Pro Plus package now stands at Rs480 after a Rs20 increase, while the Weekly Pro package is priced at Rs460.
These changes in Zong’s tariff structure come in response to the economic conditions in the country, characterized by inflationary pressures and increased costs in various sectors, including energy.
