Infinix announced the Smart 8 earlier this month, which will be joined by the Smart 8 HD on December 8. This revelation comes from Infinix’s Indian branch, which also shared images revealing the Smart 8 HD’s design and color options.
The Infinix Smart 8 HD will come in Crystal Green, Shiny Gold, Timber Black, and Galaxy White colors. It will feature a rounded square-shaped camera area on its rear, containing two cameras and a circular flash.
The Smart 8 HD features flat borders, housing the power button and volume controls on the right side, while the SIM card slot is situated on the left. According to Infinix, the “Smart 8 HD pledges a significant change in the affordable smartphone scene” and will include “various enhancements in comparison to its forerunner.”
Infinix hasn’t provided a comprehensive list of specifications for the Smart 8 HD, but the company has assured that it will boast a 6.6-inch HD+ Sunlight Readable punch-hole display with a 90Hz screen refresh rate and a peak brightness of 500 nits. The smartphone will include a fingerprint scanner on the side and a USB-C port, utilizing UFS 2.2 storage technology.
With the upcoming release still a fortnight away, anticipate Infinix unveiling additional attributes of the Smart 8 HD.
