The Honor Magci6 Pro will include a 160MP periscope zoom camera, not a 200MP one. The information comes from reliable tipster Digital Chat Station on Weibo. Honor has apparently chosen not to go with the 200-megapixel camera and has opted for the 160-megapixel alternative.
Meanwhile, an insider provides some details about the main camera sensor, OV50K, that the Magic6 will feature. Contrary to previous expectations of a 1-inch type sensor, it’s revealed to be approximately 1/1.3 inches in size, similar to the Galaxy S23 Ultra’s 200MP main camera. Digital Chat Station suggests that the OV50K will produce high-quality images, enhanced by LOFIC technology, which is essentially a stacked sensor utilizing lateral overflow integration capacitor-based CMOS. This technology is comparable to the sensors found in the Xperia 1 V and OnePlus Open (Oppo Find N3).
