Parts of Balochistan, Gilgit-Baltistan, Kashmir, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Punjab are likely to experience varying degrees of precipitation, while southern Sindh may encounter gusty winds during this period.
In Balochistan, regions including Chaghi, Noushki, Kharan, Panjgur, Gwadar, Awaran, and Khuzdar are expected to witness new weather patterns, particularly with snowfall anticipated in mountainous areas.
Across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, snowfall is predicted on high ridges, accompanied by intermittent rains and winds that may impact various districts including Chitral, Dir, Swat, and Abbottabad.
Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir regions, spanning from Diamir and Astore to Neelum Valley and Mirpur, are likely to experience intermittent spells of precipitation.
Furthermore, regions such as Murree, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, and Sargodha are forecasted to witness light to moderate rain, wind, and thunderstorms, with snowfall anticipated in hilly areas, along with the possibility of isolated hailstorms.
Southern parts of Punjab province are expected to witness cloudy weather with gusty winds on February 25th and 26th.
The Met department has issued warnings about potential disruptions to road traffic due to snowfall in northern Balochistan and the risk of flash floods in certain districts on February 26th.
Additionally, transportation routes in various areas including Murree, Naran, Swat, and Skardu may face closures or delays due to snowfall from the evening of February 26th through February 27th.
