Ramadan School Timings: The School Education Department Punjab has notified revised timings for schools during the holy month of Ramadan.
The provincial School Education Department announced changes in school timings. From Monday to Thursday and Saturday, classes at single-shift schools will start at 8:30 am and end at 1:00 pm. On Fridays, schools will close 30 minutes earlier at 12:30 pm.
Meanwhile, double-shift schools will have their morning-shift classes from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm from Monday to Saturday. The afternoon shift classes will begin at 1:00 pm and conclude at 4:30 pm from Monday to Thursday and Saturday.
On Friday, schools will start classes at 2:00 pm and finish at 5:00 pm. Additionally, during Ramadan, the School Education Department has decided to stop morning assemblies.
Earlier, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Education Department updated the school hours for Ramadan. According to the new schedule, primary schools in the province will begin classes at 7:30 am and end at 11:10 am, except on Fridays when they will finish at 10:05 am.
During Ramadan, the timings for middle, secondary, and higher secondary schools will be from 7:30 am to 12:15 pm. On Fridays, school will conclude at 10:25 am.
