The Cabinet Division has officially declared November 9 as a public holiday to observe Iqbal Day, commemorating the birth of the national poet, Allama Iqbal.

A notification from the Cabinet Division confirms that all government offices, institutions, and schools will be closed on this day.
Earlier, the deputy commissioner of Kot Addu announced a public holiday on Friday, November 8, across the district in light of the Thal Jeep rally.
