The University of Health Sciences (UHS) has reported a total of 12,363 applications submitted through its specialized online portal for admissions to public sector medical and dental colleges in Punjab.
Additionally, 8,865 applications have been received for admission to private colleges in the province.
During a meeting chaired by the Secretary of the Specialized Healthcare and Medical Education Department, Ali Jan, the ongoing admission process was reviewed in light of the retake of the Medical and Dental College Admission Test (MDCAT) by Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The UHS online portals, dedicated to public and private medical and dental colleges, accepted applications from October 16 to 31. Although these portals were initially closed on October 31, they will be reactivated for an additional three days to accommodate candidates participating in the MDCAT 2023 re-conducted by Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on November 19.
