New Petrol Price in Pakistan – The prices of petroleum products likely to be increased by up to Rs15 per liter on September 16 amidst the hike in the crude oil price by $5 per barrel in the international oil markets.
People in Pakistan are becoming increasingly concerned about the possibility of higher inflation due to the rising international crude oil prices. If the value of the dollar doesn’t decrease, the cost of petroleum products may go up starting on September 16, potentially by as much as 15 rupees per liter.
In the Gulf market, the price of crude oil has gone up from $88 to $93 per barrel. In Pakistani currency, this means that on September 1, a barrel of crude oil in the global market was priced at Rs 25,344, with an increase of Rs 2,742.
As a result of these price hikes, the cost of crude oil in Pakistani currency has now reached Rs 28,086 per barrel.
