The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has issued a weather forecast for Lahore and most parts of Punjab for the upcoming two days, predicting dry conditions. The current synoptic situation indicates that continental air is affecting most regions of the country.
This prevailing weather pattern suggests that Lahore and the wider Punjab region will experience dry weather on Friday night and over the next couple of days. However, areas like Murree, Galliyat, and their surroundings can expect cold weather.
Fog and smog are expected during the morning hours in various areas, including Mangla, Sialkot, Narowal, Gujranwala, Lahore, Okara, Sahiwal, Sargodha, Mandi Bahauddin, Joharabad, Faisalabad, Bahawalpur, and Dera Ghazi Khan, among others.
In Lahore, the minimum temperature is forecasted to range from 17-19 degrees Celsius on Saturday and 16-18 degrees Celsius on Sunday.
During the last 24 hours, dry weather prevailed across Punjab. Murree recorded the lowest temperature in the province at 08 degrees Celsius, while Lahore experienced a minimum temperature of 18 degrees Celsius. The relative humidity in the evening was recorded at 59 percent.
