In a recent update, Jemima Khan, the former wife of Imran Khan, the Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), has responded to a fake post circulating online that falsely attributed support to Israel in the midst of the ongoing conflict with Palestine.
Taking to Twitter, Jemima Khan expressed her frustration, sharing a message she received from her former sister-in-law. The message highlighted the fake post and its circulation on social media. Jemima made it clear that she had no association with the fabricated content.
The misleading post from the fake account featured an Israeli flag along with the message and hashtag “IstandwithIsrael.”
Just sent this by my former sister in law with the message “Opposition is busy” – this is a fake post circulating on social media.

Jemima has been openly critical of the ongoing conflict between Israel and Palestine. She shared a tweet from an economic professor who pointed out the dire conditions faced by over a million children due to shortages of electricity, food, and fuel. The professor stressed that this cannot be the solution in a civilized world, regardless of the historical grievances.
No electricity, no food, no fuel for 1 million children. Straight from the horse's mouth. That can't be the civilised world's answer, whatever differences we may have on who did what to whom first or last. https://t.co/UM0xsRJJhs

In a previous post on Twitter, Imran Khan’s former wife declared her support for the innocent individuals affected on both sides of the conflict, particularly emphasizing her concern for the children. She condemned the violence on all fronts.
In another post, Jemima expressed her heartfelt worries about the safety of the children caught up in the devastating war between Israel and Palestine.
I stand with the innocent human beings on both sides of this conflict.
Condemn both. pic.twitter.com/sh8hsVLHHJ

It’s important to note that the conflict between Israel and Palestine has led to hundreds of casualties, and unfortunately, there has been limited progress in finding a resolution.
