A fresh westerly wave is expected to reach the upper regions of the country by Thursday evening/night and may continue until Saturday.
In light of these conditions, the majority of the country can expect dry weather on Wednesday evening/night and the subsequent two days. However, there might be light rain in Chitral and Gilgit-Baltistan on Wednesday evening/night.
Come Thursday, upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Islamabad, the Potohar region, Kashmir, and Gilgit-Baltistan can anticipate rain, along with wind and possible thunderstorms during the evening and night.
In Islamabad, the maximum temperature is projected to range from 31 to 33 degrees Celsius on Thursday, and from 30 to 32 degrees Celsius on Friday. Meanwhile, in Rawalpindi, the maximum temperature is likely to range from 30 to 32 degrees Celsius on both Thursday and Friday.
Over the past 24 hours, the country experienced hot and dry weather. Lasbela saw the highest temperature, soaring to as high as 41 degrees Celsius. In Islamabad, the maximum temperature recorded was 33 degrees Celsius, with a morning relative humidity of 79 percent. In Rawalpindi, the maximum temperature was recorded at 31 degrees Celsius, with a morning relative humidity of 64 percent.
