Additionally, the Punjab government issued new guidelines for school operations in light of smog and air quality concerns. Following improvements in weather conditions, schools in the Rawalpindi Division, including Rawalpindi, Jhelum, Attock, and Chakwal, will reopen on November 19. This decision reverses the earlier school closures, which were initially implemented from November 17 to 24 due to hazardous air quality.
