Country music duo Dan + Shay are temporarily stepping in for Niall Horan as coaches on The Voice due to his concert schedule conflicting with rehearsals for the Knockouts.
This won’t be the last time we see them on the show; they’re set to become full-time coaches as the first-ever coaching duo next season. Alongside them will be John Legend, Reba McEntire, and Chance the Rapper.
In an exclusive clip, Horan introduces his team to the temporary replacements, who reveal themselves behind masks of Niall’s face. Horan assures them he’ll provide all the necessary information and introductions before they officially take over. Dan + Shay express excitement and readiness for the role.
