Amy Joanne Robach, born on February 6, 1973, is an American television reporter who previously worked for ABC News. She gained recognition as the co-anchor of 20/20 and as the breaking news anchor/fill-in anchor for Good Morning America. Before her time at ABC, Robach had a notable career at NBC News from August 2003 to May 2012, where she served as a national correspondent and co-hosted the Saturday edition of NBC’s Today, in addition to anchoring on MSNBC from 2007 to 2012.
Between May 2012 and January 2023, Robach was associated with ABC News. Initially, she contributed to Good Morning America, transitioning in March 2020 to hosting Pandemic: What You Need to Know, a program created in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. This show later evolved into GMA3: What You Need to Know, which she co-hosted from September 2020 to December 2022. Additionally, Robach co-anchored 20/20 alongside David Muir from May 2018 until January 2023.
