Careem, the popular app, has recently announced its new “Madinah Tour” service in collaboration with the Madinah Development Authority.
During the Saudi Tourism Forum 2024 in Riyadh, Careem announced its dedication to improving transportation experiences and backing local tourism. This aligns with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.
The “Madinah Tour” is designed to offer a curated experience, allowing visitors to explore 12 significant historical and tourist sites in Madinah. Among these places are important spots such as Masjid Nabawi and the Battle of Uhud site. Wael Ibrahim, who manages Careem Rides in Saudi Arabia, Egypt, & Bahrain, shared his pride in the partnership. He highlighted the company’s commitment to innovation and its role in supporting the growth of tourism in the Kingdom.
Get through the Careem app, the “Madinah Tour” provides two options for users. The first is a two-hour tour covering up to 5 historical sites, while the second option extends to a 5-hour tour, including all 12 sites.
The partnership with the Madinah Development Authority aims to improve the visitor experience and boost the local economy. It also aims to create job opportunities for residents, in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
