Yesterday, a leaked image showed part of the new Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6, highlighting its large bezels.
Today, another leak gives a glimpse of its back, but just a small part of the top is visible, keeping most of the phone hidden.
Nevertheless, this glimpse reveals the corner angles, resembling Samsung’s recent Ultras from the Galaxy S series, with the familiar camera island design characteristic of Samsung devices.
The cameras will be stacked vertically, a usual design for the company. But unlike the latest non-folding phones, there’s a small piece connecting the cameras. This design is similar to the Galaxy Z Fold5 from last year, but the connecting piece below the cameras is less noticeable this time.
Anyone glancing at the back will immediately identify it as a Samsung device. While this recognition is undoubtedly beneficial for the brand, it also means adhering to a familiar design rather than exploring more innovative avenues.
The camera bumps on the Galaxy Z Fold6 are expected to be bigger than those on the Fold 5, with new noticeable rings around them, according to a leaked image. Samsung is likely to officially announce the Galaxy Z Fold 6 in July at its Unpacked event, along with other devices like the Galaxy Z Flip 6, Galaxy Watch 7 series, and Galaxy Ring. There are rumors that the Galaxy Z Fold 6 Ultra and Slim might be released later this year or in early 2025. 4o
