Many people in the SEO community are discussing the fact that John Mueller’s website doesn’t show up in Google Search results anymore. It appears that his website was removed from Google entirely. The big question is: why did this happen? John Mueller is widely known as a spokesperson for Google Search on the internet., so for his site, johnmu.com, with a ton of geeky topics on it, to be not showing up in the Google Search results – SEOs wonder…
If you search command for [site:johnmu.com] – no results come up:
Sure, the first step for every SEO is to check the website’s robots.txt file at johnmu.com/robots.txt. After that, they search for any other meta tags that could stop the site from getting indexed.
We can’t check if John’s website got a manual action on Google Search Console, like many other sites did last week. But I don’t think his site was affected by it.
