Apple, a tech giant is warming up to announce most-awaited new Apple Pencil 3, iPad Air and iPad Pro models soon in the market.
The upcoming tablet series is anticipated to have improved chipsets, bigger screens, and thinner borders. Additionally, the company from Cupertino, California, plans to release new accessories such as the Magic Keyboard with a larger trackpad and the Apple Pencil 3.
Citing a report, gadget360 reported that the Apple Pencil 3 will feature a new “squeeze” gesture. Apple is working on the third generation Apple Pencil and it’s expected to release along with the new iPad models.
According to the source, the “squeeze” gesture is likely to be activated by pressing down on the Apple Pencil 3. Moreover, users can use the feature for quick interaction, adding signatures, stickers, or text, while using the Apple Pencil 3.
The “squeeze” gesture wasn’t available on the Apple Pencil 2. However, clues found in the iPad 17.5 beta code indicated that this feature would probably be included in the Apple Pencil 3.
The new Apple Pencil 3 is said to have replaceable tips that attach magnetically and can be tracked using the Find My app if lost. It’s expected to be smaller in size and have a shinier exterior compared to older versions.
Apple Pencil 3 is expected to support a USB Type-C charging port, just like the Apple Pencil launched the previous year.
Last year, Apple introduced a new version of the Apple Pencil as another option to the Apple Pencil 2. This stylus had a smooth texture and a flat side, which enabled it to attach magnetically to the side of the 10th-generation iPad.
Apple Pencil 3 release date
According to a report by Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, gadget360 stated that the release of the upcoming Apple tablets has been pushed back to May. Additionally, it’s anticipated that Apple will introduce the Apple Pencil 3, along with new iPad Air and iPad Pro models powered by the M2 and M3 chips respectively, before the Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) in June.
