KARACHI – Death of a social media star was reported from Karachi’s Sakhi Hasan Chowrangi as a security guard opened fire on TikToker for filming in public.
A security guard was shot and killed at a mobile market near Chowrangi in North Karachi on Tuesday, and the CCTV footage of the tragic incident spread widely on social media.
Initial reports stated that Sakhi Hassan was making a TikTok video at Serena Mobile Market near Chowrangi when a security guard stopped him and told him to leave.

Even though the security guard tried to stop them, the digital creator kept recording. This made the guard very angry, and he started shooting.
Police told media that the victim died on the spot, and body has been shifted to the hospital for post-mortem.
The terrible killing caused outrage, and the police arrived at the scene. They arrested the security guard and took him to the police station. The investigation is ongoing.
