Ramzan 2024 moon sighting Live updates: The Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee will meet in Peshawar today (Monday) for sighting the crescent of Ramzan 2024 in the country.
Chairman Maulana Abdul Khabir Azad will lead the central committee meeting. The Zonal and District Ruet-e-Hilal Committees will also hold their meetings at their respective Headquarters at the same time.
The Met Office said the moon for the new Islamic month was born at 2 pm on Sunday, adding that there are strong chances that Ramzan 2024 will begin on Tuesday in Pakistan.
The PMD stated that the age of the moon during the sighting on March 11 will be over 28 hours.

The head of the Ruet-e-Hilal Committee has encouraged Muslims all over Pakistan to join the moon sighting activity. He mentioned that anyone who spots the moon can inform their local district committees, which will then pass on the information to the central authority.
