LAHORE – Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has been hospitalized due to health concerns, with her potential travel abroad now dependent on her doctors’ approval.
According to reports, she has been admitted to Sharif Medical City Complex, where she is being treated for a throat infection and is under medical evaluation.
Maryam Nawaz was set to leave for London tonight, but her trip now depends on her doctors’ approval.
She has been dealing with a persistent throat infection, which prompted her to plan a visit to London for treatment. Doctors have also suggested that surgery might be required for her condition.
This would be her first trip abroad since taking office as Punjab Chief Minister. It’s worth noting that her father, Nawaz Sharif, is already in London, and both are expected to return to Pakistan together.
