Recently, these leading brands have announced significant price hikes following the imposition of an 18% General Sales Tax (GST) on packaged milk by the federal government. The new prices took effect from July 1, coinciding with the beginning of the new fiscal year.
Toward the end of June, the National Assembly approved the budget which included an 18% GST on packaged milk, as well as on herbal and homeopathic medicines, and certain food items.
In response to the budgetary changes, both Olper’s and Milk Pak have promptly adjusted their prices and issued notifications reflecting the new rates

The price of the 250ml pack of Olper’s and Milk Pak has been increased by Rs25 to Rs95 across the country.
1000ml Pack Price of Olper’s, Milk Pak
The price of 1000ml has been increased to Rs370-370 after the imposition of the taxes in the budget.

The price of 1500ml Olper’s and Milk Pak has been increased to Rs51-535 in the country.
