Hajj 2024 Policy: Religious Affairs minister Aneeq Ahmed on Thursday announced the 2024 Hajj policy.
Aneeq Ahmed mentioned that the Hajj pilgrimage in 2024 is set to undergo digitalization. Pilgrims will receive a mobile application that functions without requiring an internet connection. Additionally, a special arrangement will be made to provide Hajis with an unlimited free call package.

Aneeq Ahmed said that last year’s Hajj cost Rs11075000 but this year’s Hajj will cost 1075000.
Minister of Religious Affairs said that residences for pilgrims are found in good places in both Holy cities.
The Hajj Secretary clarified that the cost of a sacrificial animal is not included in the original Hajj package.
And if anyone wants to go for a short Hajj, then the pilgrim will have to pay Rs75,000 extra.
Aneeq Ahmed informed the media that the interim cabinet gave its approval to the revolutionary Hajj policy yesterday, signifying a significant change in the pilgrimage journey.
He mentioned that the upcoming Hajj is expected to exceed the previous one, and there’s a strategy in motion to cater to the large influx of pilgrims.
The first phase of the policy featured an ‘affordable’ package priced at 1075 thousand rupees.
