Mufti Muneeb ur Rahman said that the Fitrana and Fidya for two kilograms of wheat flour and one day’s fast is Rs. 300, while the minimum amount for Sadqa Fitr and Fidya is Rs. 300 per person according to their financial status. Wealthy individuals should pay Fitrana, Fidya, and Kaffarah according to their financial status.
Similarly, for Muslims who want to pay Fitrana based on “Jau” (four kilograms), “Dates” (four kilograms), “Raisins” (four kilograms), and “Cheese,” the requirements are as follows:
According to the announcement, the Fitrana and Fidya for “Jau” (four kilograms) and one day’s fast is Rs. 600, for “Dates” (four kilograms) and one day’s fast is Rs. 2,400, and for “Raisins” (four kilograms) and one day’s fast is Rs. 4,400.
Mufti Muneeb said that the Kaffarah for breaking the fast is to feed sixty needy people two meals each. The Fitrana for two kilograms of wheat flour (mill) is Rs. 18,000, for “Jau” (four kilograms) is Rs. 36,000, for “Dates” (four kilograms) is Rs. 144,000, and for “Raisins” (four kilograms) is Rs. 264,000.
According to the announcement, this is the minimum amount for Fitrana, Fidya, and Kaffarah based on wheat. Those who have been blessed with abundance by Allah should pay Fitrana, Fidya, and Kaffarah based on “Jau,” “Dates,” “Raisins,” or “Cheese” according to their financial status.
It should be noted that it is necessary to pay Sadqa Fitr before the Eid prayers, and the head of the household must also pay the Fitrana for their loved ones, such as their wives and children.
