The first image of journalist Imran Riaz Khan has emerged following his recovery after being missing for over five months. In the picture shared by his lawyer Mian Ashfaq Ali, Imran is seen with a grey beard and untidy hair, wearing a red polo shirt.
PTI leader Farrukh Habib extended congratulations to Mian Ashfaq for his instrumental role in securing Imran Riaz’s release. Other journalists, including Jameel Farooqui, also celebrated his return.

US-based Pakistani journalist Moeed Pirzada thanked Mian Ashfaq for his dedicated efforts. He expressed relief that Imran Riaz was now safe and emphasized the importance of releasing others in a similar situation.

Prominent journalist and anchorperson Imran Riaz Khan has returned home safely after being missing for nearly five months. This development was confirmed by Sialkot District Police Officer (DPO) Hassan Iqbal and Imran Riaz’s lawyer, Mian Ali Ashfaq. Punjab Inspector General (IG) Dr. Usman Anwar also verified the news.
In a post on X, formerly Twitter, Sialkot police announced, “Journalist/anchor Mr. Imran Riaz Khan has been safely recovered. He is now with his family.”
