LAHORE – The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) continued operations against illegal commercial use in Lahore.
On Monday, the LDA teams closed Cakes & Bakes and six other businesses in Gulshan-e-Ravi because they didn’t pay their commercialization fees. The businesses that were closed include a medical store, private schools, grocery shops, and offices. The operation was led by Director Town Planning-I, Ayesha Mutahir, and was carried out with the help of enforcement teams and the Police.
According to LDA officials, the building owners received several notices before the operation was carried out.
LDA Director General Tahir Farooq has ordered ongoing strict actions against violations of building and parking rules, encroachments, and illegal commercial activities in Lahore.
