The Information & eGovernment Authority (iGA) of the Kingdom of Bahrain, operating under the Ministry of Interior, is responsible for issuing Bahrain ID cards to both citizens and residents, including those from Pakistan.
The validity of the identity card is 5 years from the date of issuance, except for individuals above 70 years old, whose cards are valid for 10 years.
It’s important to note that the ID card’s validity is independent of other documents like passports or driving licenses, each having its own expiry date.
