Gold rates in Pakistan gleamed brighter on Tuesday as they rose in tandem with international rates, bringing cheer to jewellers and investors alike.
The price of the precious metal rose by Rs1,900 per tola, reaching Rs241,300 in the local market. The 10-gram gold price also surged by Rs1,629, settling at Rs206,876.
According to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the international gold rate also experienced a boost, rising by $15 to $2,307 per ounce, with a premium of $20.
This upward trend marks a significant shift from Monday’s stable prices, where gold per tola remained unchanged at Rs239,400 in Pakistan.
While the price of gold has been unstable, silver has maintained stability at Rs2,750 per tola. It’s noteworthy that gold reached its peak at Rs252,200 per tola in the local market just this past April.
