Following a significant increase, gold prices in Pakistan experienced a slight drop on Monday, mirroring trends in the global market.
In the local market, the price of 24-karat gold per tola fell by Rs900, bringing it down to Rs283,400, as reported by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
Likewise, the price for 10 grams of 24-karat gold decreased by Rs771, now standing at Rs242,970.
In the international market, gold prices also declined by $9 on Monday, settling at $2,739 per ounce, with an additional premium of $20.
In contrast, silver prices in the local market remained stable at Rs3,350 per tola, showing no impact from the recent fluctuations in gold prices.
