Gold Prices Rise for Second Consecutive Day in Pakistan
The price of gold in Pakistan increased for the second consecutive day on Wednesday, mirroring trends in the global market.
In the local market, the price of 24-karat gold per tola rose by Rs800, reaching Rs274,300, as reported by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
Likewise, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold increased by Rs686, bringing it to Rs235,168.
Globally, the price of gold also saw a rise of $8 on Wednesday, reaching $2,631 per ounce, with an additional premium of $20.
Meanwhile, silver prices in Pakistan remained unchanged, holding steady at Rs3,250 per tola.
