Chicken Prices Rise Again in Karachi

The price of chicken saw another increase on Friday in Karachi, the provincial capital of Sindh.

Reports indicate that chicken was being sold for Rs. 740 per kilogram, with prices varying across different areas of the city.

The surge in chicken prices has caused difficulties for residents in Karachi, making it harder for them to prepare meals.

The Karachi commissioner confirmed that the official price for chicken had been set at Rs. 635 per kilogram.

Shopkeepers attributed the price hike to a supply and demand imbalance.

Notably, chicken prices in Karachi have surged by Rs. 300 over the past three days, reaching Rs. 740 per kilogram.
