Pak Suzuki has stopped making the beloved Suzuki Mehran, a car that played a big role in changing how people got around in Pakistan. It was first introduced in the 80s and became a common sight on the roads. While it’s now a part of history, Mehran still has a special place in the hearts of many Pakistanis.
This car was brought to the market by Pakistan’s top car company and was popular because it was affordable, fuel-efficient, and didn’t require much maintenance. Even though it had a simple design and basic features, Mehran was known for its dependable performance.
Although Mehran saw some small updates over the years, its overall look and specifications didn’t change much. Surprisingly, it remained successful in Pakistan, even though it lacked modern safety features.
When it was first released, Mehran cost just Rs90,000, but by March 2019, when it was discontinued, its price had gone up to around Rs8 lakh. Mehran lasted for many years because of its sturdy design and compact size, which made it a smart choice for navigating through busy city traffic.
